Recently, we had cause to design a new flyer advertising the Credential Verification Service. Designing such a print ad was not an easy task—how does one effectively convey the capabilities of the system while also illustrating how simple it is to use? Furthermore, no one wants to read too much text—what’s a good balance between graphical content and text copy?
Hopefully, we struck a good balance with this ad. We also wanted to be clear that at the heart of the service are the durable, credit-card-style ID badges. And, since the service is especially popular with general contractors, we used a blueprint motif (although we tried to well represent the various industries who use the service through the photos and icons).
