Contractor and sub-contractor on a construction site

All sub-contractors on any large work-site are typically required to submit, in advance, the names, identities, and qualifications of each skilled worker they intend to send to the job-site. The General Contractor (GC) needs to check that each employee’s training records are in order, to ensure safety and reduce any potential risk of liability. This is done in advance to avoid any delays at the construction site.  Traditionally this has been a fairly tedious process for an office administrator to accomplish.

InstantCard’s CVS (Credential Verification Service) makes quick work of this task. All that is required is that each employee assigned to a job is highlighted in the CVS data base. CVS will then generate an excel spreadsheet, ready to be immediately emailed to the General Contractor, with all the required information. For each employee listed, there will be a clickable link to pull up his full, up-to-date set of training records online. As a result, the GC’s staff can quickly confirm whether anyone doesn’t meet the specific requirements for the job at hand.

A tedious task that previously took hours can now be accomplished in a few minutes.
