Clients often ask us our recommendation for the best QR Code Reader app. For years, we have recommended i-nigma, which is free and available on all platforms. It is extremely fast and reliable, and offers just the features required by CVS users.
Lucas over at www.uqr.me has published a list of “The 11 Best QR Code Reader Apps for Android, iPhone, Windows Phone & BlackBerry“. A number of them have different features, appropriate for different use-cases, but we’re glad to see that he agrees with our choice of i-nigma.
Of course, we’re excited to see that browsers like Google Chrome are just beginning to integrate QR code readers directly. But this is currently only available on the iOS version, so until it becomes universal we won’t be able to recommend it. But rest assured that we are watching this space closely!
